Ride Out This Sunday

Bikers its the first PB ride of the year. So get your bikes and bellies ready for some fun. RIDE UPDATE BY SIMON.

Another brilliant day out, 9 turned out for this first ride of 2020 with Pete leading us on 135mls around Cornwall and Devon. We headed out towards Launceston via the Tamar bridge (gateway to Cornwall ) stopping off at Lifton and the Tinhay lake. Tea and bacon sandwich consumed it was back out into the drizzle for the ride to Bude. During this section of the ride, we met a couple of horses out with there owners for some country fresh air. due to the lively nature of the animals giving them a wide birth for safe passage seemed a good idea, putting my bike into the shallow ditch running alongside the lane wasn’t in the plan, so thanks to all who helped or just sniggered. I’d like to say it’ll never happen again…. I’ll clean it later.
Stopping for dinner in Bude, by the river fantastic. The ride home was the most direct route fast and sweeping A-roads, good fun. a special mention to the new lad on a 125 ktm he kept up with the bigger bikes but had to wring the neck out of his bike. A great day was had by all despite the changeable weather, so I hope to see you all again throughout the year.

Thanks again, Simon T
