189 mile Sunday ride out with the Plymouth Bikers, 28th Aug 2016, filmed in 1080p. Looking out the window on the Sunday morning and seeing wet roads, grey sky and pulling the bikes out of the garage i did think to myself, am I mad, my bike doesn’t have rain mode. But the weather man did promise Sunshine in Lynton, and sunshine we got. Thirteen bikers bikers took to the roads to take in this nice long day with the knowledge that we still had a day off school on the Monday. A perfect opportunity for a long run, Dave P took the guys across country all the way up for a coffee stop at Bicklieigh Mill. After we headed upwards through Exmoor National Park and came out on Porlock. Graham took over while Dave’s satnav had a moment, towards and up Porlock hill and then along over the lovely coastline into Sunny Lynton Lynmouth. A good hours stop for banter and lunch, enjoying the sunshine, people watching and a bit of filming. Great to catch up with news from a few of the crew. Back home via a tea stop at Okehampton station finished off a fab day. Thanks to Dot on back marker, Graham for stepping in on navigation problems and for the great company of a great group of people.
Pictures of the day available for future memories.
